Camp Letter

Dear Parents and Caregivers

We would like to inform you that Team Pohutukawa will be going on camp to Living Springs this year!

The camp will be in Term 4 from the 29th of October until the 31st.  We have a new and exciting opportunity for children this year to take part in tenting as part of the outdoor programme.  This will not be compulsary, but it would be good for children to start thinking about whether or not this would be something they would like to do.  Tents are provided, however children would need a mat to sleep on.  They will be able to choose whether they would like to sleep in the tent for one night or two nights and we will try to accommodate them with these choices, depending on numbers of course!

The cost of camp this year will be $160 and this will include all food, transport, activities and accommodation.  The activities that will take place on camp are yet to be confirmed but in the past have included bush walking, rifles and archery, orienteering, a camp fire, a confidence course, monorail, swimming, mini-golf, flying fox and team building activities and this year the programme will be similar.

The camp cost will be included in your school account and will need to be paid by the 28th of September.  There is also an option of paying the amount in installments, if you wish to do this please see the office.

If you have any questions regarding camp please see your classroom teacher or Aimee Stewart (team leader in room 8b7).

Thank you
